They all screamed “Daddyyyyyy” and tackled me onto the ground, showering them with hugs and kisses. Such moment makes every effort to build this Internet Business so much worth while!

Getting back to the subject Matter, I was reflecting on the 5 Habits a successful person possessed. I’ve heard of these habits and had observed them to be true as I worked one-on-one with 7 Figure Earners in Costa Rica.

I wanted to share with you what they are and we can all cultivate to take on those habits in order to increase our success.

These habits are applicable for anything and everything we do in life.

Here goes ..

1. Books

2. Audio

3. Events

4. Recognition

5. Relationship

Allow me elaborate each point.

Books – Daily reading of self improvement books keep our mind focused towards what we want to become. We have a choice to read stuff that contribute to our growth or work against us.

e.g. we have a choice to read, “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill that will keep us focused on the right thing to achieve what we want in life or we can read the newspaper that is full of bad news and casting fear into our hearts.

Audio – One of my mentor listens to Tony Robbins on a daily basis to keep himself operating at his optimum state of mind as he build his business. What we listen to on a daily basis will result in our state of mind as we walk through life.

Research shows that as we read books and listen to Audio, they both create different connection within our brain, forming circuits that determine our action.

Events – Successful people recognise the importance of attending events. Have you heard the phase “Events are where Decisions are made”? I didn’t quite understand that until I attended the Platinum Mastermind in Costa Rica.

Through interacting and making new connections with people. We get to exchange our knowledge in the internet marketing space. We learn from each other and most of all we able to hear the success stories from ordinary people who are getting extra ordinary results.

It reaffirm my belief that the system in the business works and I decide to run with it even more.

Recognition – Do you get recognised at your day job for your achievement publicly? Often a time it is done in a private manner to avoid any jealousy among work colleague.

I remember my boss reward me with a gift card, in his office and told me not everyone gets it .. so he asked me to keep it to myself.

One of our human needs is to be recognised for our achievement. We may not all want to be publicly recognised, however being public recognise put us in an uplifted state. It empowers us to do better.

The process of recognition works both ways,

– Recognise other’s achieve genuinely and

– To be recognised by others.

The reality  environment, people around us wants us to succeed but NOT THAT MUCH. In Australia this is called Top Poppy Syndrome which is similar to Crab in the pail where when one shine out … they will be pulled back into the pile.

Giving genuine and receiving recognition will allow ourselves and others to permission to achieve greater success in whatever we are working towards.

Last and not least…

Relationships – Another saying, our income is the average of our 5 best friends. Forming friendship and connection with fellow like minded success oriented people who are genuinely supportive for each other’s success.

Books and Audio are carried out personally on a daily basis.

Recognition and Relationship are most often done at Events. Keep this in mind and make an intention to practice daily to develop the 5 Habits, if we want to achieve a level of success in whatever we want to achieve.

One up and coming event this weekend is the Home Business Summit. If you can make it to the event at Seattle Washington, then by all means it is most encourage to consider.

However there is alternative to attend the LIVE event in the comfort of your home via your computer. They call it the Live Streaming. You will see people who are successful in the Internet Marketing business being recognised with big cheques.
